Marshall McClelland, m.s., ccc-slp

Marshall is a fully licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of professional experience. Marshall holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) as well. She graduated from Old Dominion University with her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Virginia. Marshall has worked in rehabilitation and nursing home settings, evaluating and treating the cognitive and swallowing needs of the adult and geriatric populations. While she continues to provide services for adults, she specializes in working with children. Marshall has experience in both the public school and private practice settings, evaluating and treating toddler, prekindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school-aged students.


Marshall has helped develop the communicative skills and abilities of individuals with a variety of medical diagnoses including ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, cleft palate, developmental delay, Down’s Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Hydrocephalus, mental retardation, Prader Willi Syndrome, seizure disorders, and Traumatic Brain Injury. She has worked with children and young adults with articulation/phonological disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, dysarthria, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysphagia, food aversion, fluency disorders, global delays, hearing loss, language learning disabilities, reading disorders, and receptive and expressive language delays. She has assisted in the development of low, medium, and high tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Marshall feels rewarded by helping children, young adults, and their families work together to increase independence and confidence through the improvement of communication skills.

Julia C., M.S., CCC-SLP

Julia is a fully licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with over six years of professional experience. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She graduated from Towson University with her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Towson University, as well.

Julia has provided speech and language services for children ages two through fourteen with a range of needs including articulation, phonological, expressive language, receptive language, fluency, and voice disorders. She has used a variety of augmentative and alternative communication devices and materials while providing therapy. Julia has a passion for advocating for children with communication needs and working with their families.

Augusta P., M.S., CCC-SLP 


HIGHLY QUALIFIED SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPIST


Augusta is a fully licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist practicing in central and north
Virginia. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and
Hearing Association (ASHA) as well. Augusta graduated from New York University (NYU),
Steinhardt with her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and she earned her bachelor’s
degree in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). During the height of
the COVID-19 pandemic, Augusta worked in NYU’s Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, virtually
evaluating the speech-language and cognitive needs of the adult and geriatric populations. Her
current focus is on working with children in the public school and private practice settings both in-
person and on the virtual therapy platform. Augusta has experience evaluating and treating toddler,
prekindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school-aged individuals.

Augusta has helped develop the communicative skills and abilities of individuals with a variety of
medical diagnoses including Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD), Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Developmental Delay (DD), Microcephaly, Dandy-Walker
Syndrome (DWS), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). She has assisted in the development of low,
medium, and high tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices for a variety of
the medically complex children she has worked with. Additionally, she has worked with children and
young adults who stutter/clutter, as well as individuals who have articulation/phonological disorders,
receptive/expressive language disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), and partial hearing
loss. Augusta feels it is essential to facilitate communication on a basic, tangible level, and teach all
generations the importance of manifesting diverse connections.

Nikki H., M.S., CCC-SLP


HIGHLY QUALIFIED SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPIST

Nikki is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with 12 years experience. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences and Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University at Buffalo.

Nikki has worked in the school and private practice setting. She has experience working with ages 2 through high school. She has worked with children/adolescents who have a variety of diagnoses, including Autism, Developmental Delay, and Down's Syndrome. She has experience working with students who have articulation/phonological disorders, language disorders, and fluency disorders. Nikki enjoys working with clients and their families to improve communication skills. 

Nikki is the creator behind Teach Speech 365, which provides speech therapy materials. Her store offers a variety of valuable resources for families to use at home for carryover work. Nikki also customizes materials for her Speech For Each clients, which is extremely special and enhances her therapy approach.
